Most people know Doug Gilmour as a Stanley Cup champion, a Toronto Maple Leafs icon, and a Hockey Hall of Famer. But before all of that, his story began in junior hockey — with the Cornwall Royals’ 1981 Memorial Cup championship.

He takes us back to that unforgettable Memorial Cup run, the lessons he carried into his NHL career, and the role that Larry Mavity played in shaping him as a player, coach, and manager.
