A few summers ago, we set out to document some of the most passionate hockey collectors across North America.
Over several months, we filmed The Collectors episodes dedicated to all six of the NHL’s Original Six teams.

This project wasn’t about memorabilia for memorabilia’s sake.
It was about the deeper stories—how these collections become part of people’s identity and connect generations of fans.

This summer, I’m resharing those episodes so more people can see the passion that built them.

Today, we’re kicking things off with the Montreal Canadiens.

Why This Cave Matters

Sunil Peetush’s “Habs Cave” isn’t just a room full of jerseys and sticks.
It’s a living tribute to decades of Canadiens history—layered with memories, stories, and a love for the game that runs deep.

Sunil’s collection started the same way so many do:
A few hockey cards.
A spark of curiosity.
And a love for the Habs that only grew over time.

Every shelf here tells a story.
Every autograph is a moment frozen in time.
Every piece connects Sunil to the team, the city, and a lifetime of unforgettable memories.
